Get Thee To A Nunnery
What the hell is this crap? We might have to evacuate on Sunday if this is correct. Usually the place we would go is Slidell, Louisiana, but that is out. The amazing thing is - even after the horror of Katrina, the first thing I think is, "It won't land here. I'm not moving."

Good Gawd, that looks nasty. Hopefully it will be nothing like Katrina. You're welcome to crash here.
Seriously though, good luck. We're thinking of youse.
I read yesterday that at this rate, they will run out of names for this years hurricanes!

Maybe you guys should move to CA after you graduate. The weather is great here.

California is another place where they keep warning and warning and warning about a giant earthquake that is way overdue. At least you get a warning with a hurricane. California is just a giant death trap .

That thing looks hideous, Steve.
And, sheez, Marigold, you always find the super fun links.

Marigold's right, ladies. It'd prob be best if we just ended our lives now -- avoid all the suffering we face in the future. I heard standing in front of a moving train is fairly painless.

Well, it looks like I happened to be right and Ophelia has turned north and out of our Danger Zone. Hurricane Cory still rages on.

Unlike other places California, At least North Cali. is prepared for a huge Earth Quake. As far as where we live we would have beach front homes if it happens (pretty cool to me"
Anyway that big earthquake shit isn't even proven. It's just a way for people living on the East Coast to tell themselfs why they should move to a place with great weather, diverse people and it's own personality.
Gos has been trying to tell you people something for 2 years now, GET OUT OF THE SOUTH!

I agree with Cory - being hit by a moving train is definately the best way to go. That's why I live in New York, we have plenty of trains (finger crossed).

hi. if ya'all need a place to crash, austin isn't too far away. i've got two beds and lots of floor space. its high ground. plus, the town's got more mostly bad live music and ugly 70's era decor than anywhere else in the world.
good thing this ophelia turned the other way though. still, if any more hurricanes come your way, you can always come this way.

Thanks, Erin and Arron for your thoughts. Erin and Arron sounds like a good name for a cheesy pop/folk duo from the 60's.
