Gargh! Curses!
It looks likes me plans be foiled, maties! Against all odds, the stars have aligned to pass down upon me a loser of a card. It looks like all islands I will happen to visit in the near future will not be private ones. They will have the stink of Marriott and Senior Frog.
By the gods, I will re-align those finicky stars to amass a small fortune and then I will take matters into my own hands. You can't come. Unless you can cook tasty mango delights, or have suppressing-native-uprising experience.

Actually, I've heard that islands are not that expensive. If you are just a millionare, you can afford one.
I want my own island too. I also want to be able to fly and live under water for extended periods of time. I think the first step is getting my own island. Then I will have the privacy to hire scientists to conduct experiments and discover how to allow me to achieve those other goals.

has anyone ever played tropico? It is a fun game where you are the ruler of your own island and your little island workers plant cash crops and build casinos for you and stuff. Fun, repetetive fun.

Just like the Aquabats! I promise to invite you to my island if I get my first million before you do. Maybe we could split the bill for the scientists.
Also, I'm thinking we could monetarily acquire several islands elegantly distant and spread over the surface of the globe. Then with our seemingly banal islands we would dig connecting tunnels through the depths of this Earth, thereby creating a vast interconnected network of supernormal abilities and facilities.

its funny you posted this right after I read this article, about kind of having your own island.
http://www.latimes.com/features/outdoors/la-os-wildwest30nov30.column
we are thinking of doing this sometime in January or Feb.
also, check out this:

That is only about $120k or so, in dollars. Much less than any condo or something in California!
look at this one! http://www.vladi-private-islands.de/sales_islands/sites/04_american1.html
That is like, $70K! The only problem is that its in canada, so i don't know what citizenship issues are with owning land. But we could start a adventure camp for illegitimate boys and girls!

Justin, I can't read that LA Times article because they want all my information to do so. I don't like that. It seems like every newspaper requires a login, which I can understand, but still hate.
The website I posted had some cheap Candian islands too. In fact, it had an article about the abundance of islands in canada and because of the northern climates, the general undesiability of them. This equals cheap. Isn't Canada itself an adventure camp for illegitimate boys and girls?
Courtney, if Bjork has one, I want one too. What interesting human behavior.
